Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood Announce ACM Nominees

Thw 41st ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATIONS will be announced next Wednesday during “The Early Show” on CBS-TV.

Announcing the nominations will be RASCAL FLATTS, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, and The Early Show’s HANNA STORM, live from the Ford’s Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

It guess if you are in the Eastern or Atlantic time zones you just have to wait for TV to break the story. But, in the other time zones, keep your eye on the internet .. and see if you can scoop TV locally. Let your listeners know that you'll be announcing the ACM nominees on your morning show at least an hour before they are on TV. (hint: don't you love those east coast feeds available on satellite TV?)

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS will be broadcast LIVE from MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
