Lila McCann Ties The Knot
Now, it can be told:
On Sunday, November 20th, 2005, Broken Bow Records country star Lila McCann married Mike Wolofsky. The wedding, held at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, was attended by a small group of close friends and family. The happy couple, who reside in Nashville, met through mutual friends and started dating in 2002.
In the December 19th issue of Country Weekly, there will be photos and additional details from the magazine’s exclusive coverage of Lila’s wedding. That particular issue hits newsstands this week.
“I’m so excited to be married to my best friend,” shares Lila McCann. “The honeymoon has been very exciting. I’ve been on the road with Jim Brickman on his holiday tour since November 25th, but my new husband doesn't seem to mind too much! We've the got the rest of our lives for the honeymoon!”
Lila McCann recently joined Brickman in the studio to record “I’m Amazed” (written by Victoria Shaw and David Grow) for Walt Disney Records’ Jim Brickman: The Disney Songbook album which was released on October 4, 2005. The song was inspired by Disney’s classic animated movie Cinderella. The song will also be included on Lila’s upcoming project for Broken Bow Records scheduled for release in 2006.
Lila joined Jim Brickman on the road late November and continues throughout December where she performs, “I’m Amazed” as a part of Jim Brickman & Friends – The Holiday Tour 2005. Jim Brickman’s Holiday Tour will be making stops in: Toledo, Ohio; Lincoln, Nebraska; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Fort Worth, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland and Wilmington, Delaware just to name a few.
Lila McCann recently performed “I’m Amazed” for a PBS concert special, Jim Brickman at the Magic Kingdom: The Disney Songbook, that began airing over the Thanksgiving weekend and will continue through December 2005. The PBS special was taped in Orlando, FL and includes additional performances by Michael Bolton, Linda Eder and Wayne Brady.
