Jocks: Call Them "Songs," Not "Singles"

Not-so-subtle signs the world is changing: the last "Whitburn book" was titled "Top Country Singles, 1944-2001."

Now, the new edition is out .. and it's called "TOP COUNTRY SONGS 1944-2005 - 6th Edition."

For a lot of people of a 'certain' age, a "single" is someone who is not married and a "record" is something athletes train for.

The words you choose to use tell your listener how old you are! (Nag, nag, nag..)
