Keith Cancels England Show

Keith Urban canceled a show in Manchester, England, Saturday night April 28, citing voice problems. Dick Shuey's Twangtown USA reports Keith was scheduled to perform at Manchester Academy and the Manchester Evening News on its website says that Urban pulled out at the last minute because he had “lost his voice.” Fans were not told that the show was canceled until they arrived at the venue. Promoters say that tickets for the canceled date will be valid for Keith’s October show at the Manchester Apollo, while fans who cannot attend that performance can receive a refund. Keith’s next scheduled tour date is May 11 in Brisbane, Australia.

I suppose anytime an friend has spent time in rehab even their closest adherents worry when (possible lapses?) things like this happen. Let's hold onto hope that what sounds like an excuse IS indeed a REASON and that voice gets better fast.

The show was NOT cancelled at the last minute. Keith Urban could not talk! There were fans who saw Keith on both Friday and Saturday and they stated that Keith could barely talk. Give the guy a break. He lost his voice! Is the only artist to ever loose his voice and have to cancel a show? Nope!
