I admit to being one of those 20 hour a day workaholics/type A personalities who get a lot of self-worth out of what I accomplish on the job, yet constantly fear that I am not working hard enough or getting enough accomplished.
Radio, a 25/7 biz, rewards us when we buy into that way of life, it often seems. Yet, does it really?
Could you be more effective as a communicator if you lived life a little more and spent fewer hours with radio people?
Take a moment and ponder "Get A Life!" by wife and husband Jody Miller and Matt Miller in the current issue of Fortune, which states "Working 24/7 may seem good for companies, but it's often bad for the talent—and men finally agree. So businesses are hatching alternatives to the punishing, productivity-sapping norm."
