Interesting study. I've been wondering for awhile what the cost to a station who left the novelty stuff of their list would be. That depends, of course, on what the individual PD considers a novelty -- "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" is clearly novelty (and a bad one at that) but I wouldn't call "Jesus Take The Wheel" novelty.
I think I'd like to listen to a station without all the novelty crap...but not at all sure I'd want to be the PD who tries it. :)
