RTNDA’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct states that professional electronic journalists should “clearly disclose the origin of information and label all material provided by outsiders.”
They just updated their guidelines to meet this goal in an age of ever more sophisticated ways that both government and interest groups manipulate the info that they give you.
