THE WARREN BROTHERS SHOWCASE THEIR PSEUDO-CELEBRITY STATUS IN THE SECOND SEASON OF “BARELY FAMOUS: THE WARREN BROTHERS”
PREMIERING AUGUST 5 ON CMT
Famous Friends Keith Urban, John Schneider and Van Zant to Appear
Never a dull moment, never a major hit — singing duo the Warren Brothers get another shot at fame when BARELY FAMOUS: THE WARREN BROTHERS premieres on Friday, Aug. 5 at 8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT. They’ve rubbed elbows with superstars for years, scored multiple top 40 singles and toured the country with the hottest acts in country music; yet the Warren Brothers remain just on the verge of celebrity. CMT takes a comical look at their almost-famous lives and more-famous friends in BARELY FAMOUS: THE WARREN BROTHERS.
In the second season of BARELY FAMOUS: THE WARREN BROTHERS, CMT follows the duo’s quirky escapades as they ditch a recording session for CMT DukesFest where the guys challenge John Schneider (Bo Duke) to a race in their tricked-out General Lee. From flipping burgers in Minnesota with Keith Urban, to visiting their childhood home in Tampa, Fla., or writing songs with Van Zant ¯ find out what happens when CMT cameras go inside, really inside, Brad and Brett’s almost-famous life.
The Warren Brothers have penned hits for the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd (“Red, White & Blue”), Van Zant (“I Can’t Help Myself”) Faith Hill (“The Lucky One”), Tim McGraw (“Blank Sheet Of Paper”) and countless others, yet the duo remain anonymous to almost everyone but their family. They’ve received six CMA nominations, nine ACM nominations and no wins, seven Top 40 singles, yet no Top 10 hits. Singers/songwriters/musicians Brad and Brett Warren debut their fourth album “Barely Famous Hits” on August 2, and they begin a major 35 city tour with Brooks & Dunn’s “Deuce’s Wild” tour in Dallas, Texas, on August 6.
