Concurrence Marketing

con·cur·rence
Pronunciation: -'k&r-&n(t)s, -'k&-r&n(t)s
Function: noun CONSENT a coincidence of equal powers

Concurrence Marketing is based on two straightforward ideas about how to practice productive marketing.

* First, minimize clutter.
* Second, deliver value.

Clutter is minimized by being precise and relevant. Value is delivered by giving consumers power and reciprocity.

These two pairs of P's and R's - P&R² - are the four key principles of Concurrence Marketing. Both senses of concurrence are entailed - being in agreement by being more precise and relevant and being collaborative by providing power and reciprocity.

The folks at Yankelovich are working on some interesting things right now. If you aren't concerned about the continued very high negative impression of commercials and all other marketing, here's something you need to study.
