"It really means a lot to win an award voted on by people my age," she said. "Fan voted awards mean more to me than anything else, so thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted!"<BR/><BR/>A brand new song from Taylor premieres this week as part of NBC's broadcast of the 2008 Olympic Games. "Change," which will appear on Swift's sophomore CD (scheduled for release this fall on Big Machine Records), will be one of a few songs used as the soundtrack for daily video highlights shown during the Olympic broadcast. The song was selected by Team USA and NBC for its lyrical content about overcoming challenges and achieving victory, and will be available on iTunes starting today, Aug. 8, with all proceeds benefiting Team USA.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8927785.post-83697103413329580282008-08-05T14:15:00.000-07:002008-08-05T14:15:00.000-07:00Thankfully, there was no schedule overlap between ...Thankfully, there was no schedule overlap between Nashville Star and Teen Choice, so it was possible to watch both. I found both about equally boring, but at least Nashville Star was shorter. And the music was better (marginally). I guess the fact that I hadn't heard of half of the winners means I'm not in the right demographic for the Teen Choice Awards...Sean Hardinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08608670466103460121noreply@blogger.com
